Switching to a new smartphone does not mean starting from scratch. You can transfer your contacts, photos, apps, messages, and more from any Android or iOS device. Choose the method that works best for you.

Method 1: USB Cable Transfer

  • Connect your old phone to your new smartphone using a USB-C to USB-C cable (or USB-C to Lightning adapter for iPhones).

  • Follow the on-screen prompts during initial setup to select data to transfer.

  • This method is faster for large amounts of data (photos, videos).

Method 2: Cloud Backup

  • Google One: Back up your old Android device to Google One

  • iCloud: If switching from iPhone, back up to iCloud

  • Samsung Cloud: If switching from Samsung, export data to Google

What Gets Transferred

    • Contacts, call history, and SMS/MMS messages

  • Photos, videos, and music files

  • App data (for supported apps)

  • Wi-Fi passwords and device settings

Warning: WhatsApp requires its own migration tool. Open WhatsApp on your old device, go to Settings > Chats > Transfer Chats, and follow the in-app instructions to move your chat history.
